Paparazzi Don’t Preach, Nicole by OPI (3/5)
This colour is great, it reminded me of a Hard Candy colour I used about 15 years ago, when candy floss pastels with block colouring were ‘in’.
I saw an episode of Revenge with Emily Van Camp and the character who plays Madeline Stowe’s daughter was wearing a jade green dress, plum lip gloss and a cream butter colour with a hint of peach, delicate but full block over the nail – not see through.
I found this OPI product and it looked almost a perfect match. I was really impressed with the brush, it was a little flatter and therefore easy to use and keep steady. The colour was thick and rich despite being a fine fluid to apply. After two coats my nails looked great, block colour is this elegant subtle shade.
The only reason why this did not get my 5 stars is because it chipped far to easily and after two days I couldn’t touch it up any more without it looking a mess, I had to remove it.
So my review is colour great, brush great, quality of product - not so great.
