"It’s hard enough trying to get your body back into shape after one pregnancy, so after four many of us would consider throwing in the towel altogether. But for Heather Porter, the Dubai-based British author of Body Back, it doesn’t have to be that way. Using her own experiences, Heather chronicled her journey to wellbeing after her children’s births to help women in similar situations regain their self-confidence.

Deciding to lay down her roots in Dubai five years ago was a somewhat strategic move for Heather. Its central location on the world map enabled her to juggle motherhood with her work commitments all over the globe, as she could reach any continent in the world with a single flight. The move really paid dividends in 2013 when she was asked to develop the Body Back brand in the US while at the same time working with new publishers in Asia to market the book to a previously untapped audience.

With the framework set for a second book, the future for Heather looks busy for the foreseeable future, with a typical day that incorporates little sleep. Meeting deadlines in the US requires 4am starts and she travels extensively to Europe, America and Asia. But while at home in Dubai, she enjoys nothing more than spending time with her children as much as she can – proving that you really can have it all."
